So I’m home for the weekend and I decided to make a cake.
It had finally cooled down enough to do the icing when the Wales England match was nearing it’s end so once Wales had scored a try I was therefore confined to the kitchen lest I bring further bad luck upon the Welsh.
Oh my.
It’s all about the end of the war and adjusting to civilian life.
Oh.
So now I can hear the freight trains.
Lovely.
Fuck it.
I’m going to play this mysterious bonus disc that came with my Band of Brothers & The Pacific dvd & while it’s loading trek to open the window.
IN FUCKING FEBRUARY.
WHY IS IT SO WARM IN THIS ROOM?
I THOUGHT UNI HALLS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FREEZING.
MY RADIATOR IS TURNED DOWN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
I may have to resort to an open window.
Okay.
Ron Livingston’s video diaries are the best TV extras ever.
The best overall extras still belong to LOTR, those will never be topped.

I GOT A 57 FOR MY POLITICS EXAM!
THAT’S 3 MARKS AWAY FROM A 2:1.
BUT STILL: IT’S A PASS.
THAT’S ONE THING I WON’T HAVE TO RESIT!
And first year doesn’t go towards your degree~

Just for general information: HBO shirts are good for insulating against hot bowls of pasta.

I keep on seeing people reading ASOIAF on public transport.
AND IT’S AWESOME.
But omg I went outside in just a t-shirt earlier.
IN FREAKING FEBRUARY.
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE WEATHER?
omg I love random Josh Groban appearances on british comedy shows.
Tumblin’ from my kindle again.
I think I’m getting the hang of this.

I have to be up in six hours for the module from hell and I’m not even tired yet.

Maybe if I put off this trip until I learn to drive that might help.
But that won’t be until I can a. afford lessons b. afford a car c. afford the fucking insurance.
So I’ll have to be employed, and probably at least 25/26 for the insurance to go down.
UGH.

Or I could learn to ride a bike and do an epic bike ride to Portsmouth and then bike it/walk in Normandy.
NOW CURSING NOT LIVING ON THE SOUTH COAST WHERE I COULD BE IN WALKING DISTANCE OF A FERRY TO FRANCE.
So I’m sort of trying to plan a dream walking tour of Normandy.
So the ferry isn’t too bad, but then I see the prices of getting down to Portsmouth on public transport and I start weeping.
